چکیده
Cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.) is used as the raw material in more than fifty industries and also main source of materials textile, oil, animal feed, paper industries. Additionally, it a crop great economic importance for its producer countries with added value employment opportunities. among crops sensitive to weed competition yield decreases weeds. For this reason, control treatments should be employed effectively obtain high yields cotton fields. In recent years, Ipomoea triloba (IPOTR), which has increased agricultural areas Mediterranean Region, prevents development because invasive features causes harvest difficulties during by hand or machine harvest. The aim study create an effective program against IPOTR cotton. Field experiments were carried out Ceyhan, Adana, Turkey 2018 2019. purpose, impact including Pyroxasulfone 85% (PYRS) Trifloxysulfuron sodium 75% (TRFS), Pyrithiobac-sodium 383 g/l (PYBS), Glyphosate isopropylamine salt 480 (GLYI), S-metolachlor 915 + Benoxacor 45 hoe (SMEC), inter-row rotary intra-row (FÇEÇ) investigated 28 day-after treatment at two years. It been determined that TRFS PYBS have efficacy over 90%, while FÇEÇ, SMEÇ, applications 60%. Applications lint yield. However, injury was observed after GLYI application (20%).

GABAA Receptor Modulation by Compounds Isolated from Salvia triloba L
Salvia triloba, traditionally known as Greek sage, has been used to enhance memory, as a sedative and to treat headaches. Pharmacological evaluation of purified extracts and isolated compounds of S. triloba were carried out on functional assays using two-electrode voltage clamp methods on recombinant GABA receptors expressed in Xenopus laevis oocytes. Bio-assay guided fractionation led to seven...
متن کاملDemographic comparison of sweetpotato weevil reared on a major host, Ipomoea batatas, and an alternative host, I. triloba
In this study, we collected life table data for the sweetpotato weevil, Cylas formicarius, grown on Ipomoea batatas and Ipomoea triloba, and analyzed them using an age-stage, two-sex life table. We also demonstrated the growth potential of C. formicarius on these two host plants by using population projection. These data will be useful to the growers to the selection or eradication of host plan...

Anthocyanins from purple sweet potatoes can serve as natural colorants due to their high heat and light stability and are commonly used in juices, alcoholic beverages, jams, confectioneries, bread, snacks and noodles. There are several commercially available varieties of purple sweet potatoes, which can vary in storage root size, shape, and color. During the last decade sweet potato cultivars w...
متن کاملPossible glyphosate tolerance mechanism in pitted morningglory (Ipomoea lacunosa L.).
Natural tolerance of Ipomoea lacunosa to glyphosate has made it problematic in the southeastern U.S. since the adoption of glyphosate-resistant crops. Experiments were conducted to determine (i) the variability in tolerance to glyphosate among accessions, (ii) if there is any correlation between metabolism of glyphosate to aminomethylphosponic acid (AMPA) or sarcosine and the level of tolerance...
متن کاملPawpaw [Asimina triloba (L.) Dunal] Fruit Ripening. I. Ethylene Biosynthesis and Production
Pawpaw fruit ethylene production, 1-aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylic acid (ACC) synthase (ACS) and ACC oxidase (ACO) activities, and tissue content of the ethylene precursor ACC and conjugate malonyl-ACC (MACC) were measured during postharvest ripening. Fruit were harvested near the advent of the ripening process and were ripened at room temperature. The fruit displayed increases in ethylene prod...
